SBW 8 HS
The special washing-system for Regiobahn and passenger train with high-speed washing through 20 km/h:
Washes the lateral surface and the edge areas of the roof fast and careful. The swivel and
automatic avoiding brushes guarantee a gentle washing of the vehicle surfaces without risk of
damage. The vehicle drives under its own power through the washing system. Therefor for the
washing system it is just necessary to have a placement area of approx. 7 x 10 m.
The construction of the washing system is so laid out that the vehicles can be washed during
the shunting activities in the railway area with a passage speed up to 20 km/ h. This ensures
that the availability of the trains is significantly increased because it is not necessary for them
to stay for several hours in an external cleaning because they become washed during as they
pass.
The selection of the suitable programs concludes automatically by RFID-System or by
identification of the UIC-wagon number.
SBW8 HS standard-equipment:
- automatic dosage of shampoo and gloss dryer
- microprocessor control with water protected switchboard, mountable at any given point
- swiveling device of the brushes with a pneumatic control and electronic contact pressure measurement
- pivoting angle limitation by gear motor with angular sensor
- divided roof brushes optional with swivel device up to 40°
- safe assembly – there is no component of the washing system placed in the light space profile of the railway even when the control or rather the compressed air fails
- automatic-start by rail switch
- train detection by RFID or UIC-Scan
- washing in both drive direction possible
- automatic speed measurement during the washing
- brush motors speed-related control of the spindle speeds
- combinable with washing system series TW / TBW
- automatically integrated central lubrication for ball bearings
